2024 OJGT Muskogee Spring Championship & Junior World Qualifier Event Information

METHOD OF PLAY

36-Holes, Individual Stroke Play

 

The field will be divided into the following divisions:

  • Boys
  • Girls

 

In the event of a tie for first place in a division, there will be a sudden-death playoff to determine a sole winner. Should there be an inability to conduct a playoff (course availability, weather, darkness, etc.), ties will be broken using the USGA method of matching cards (Total Score of Second Round, Last 9 Holes, Last 6 Holes, Last 3 Holes, then 18th Hole Going Back to #1).

 

Any other ties for prizes (other than first place) will broken using the USGA method of matching cards.

 

Conditions of the playoff will be announced on-site by the OJGT Rules Committee.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility for this event and its divisions is limited to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

 

  • Must have created a Player's Account Through Golf Genius - Register Now

  • Sign up for OJGT Membership ($100 Yearly Fee) - Sign Up Now

  • Must be between the ages of 12-18 on or before the first day of the Championship.

  • Participants must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

 

Note: High school graduates may participate in events until they become 19 years old or August 1st of their graduation year. High school graduates are not eligible to gain tour points.

$140 per player

ABOUT IMG ACADEMY JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The IMG Academy Junior World Championship is an annual junior golf championship held in the San Diego, California on July 6-11, 2024. The championship is now the largest international event in the world with over 1250 participants, representing 56 countries and 42 states. Boys & Girls 15-18 will compete at Torrey Pines Golf Course (Boys on South Course, Girls on North Course).

 

This qualifier will have spots for the following divisions (spots TBA):

  • Boys 15-18
  • Boys 13-14
  • Girls 15-18
  • Girls 13-14

 

Age Divisions are based on your age as of July 11, 2024.

 

Junior will be asked to pay an additional $5 fee during the registration if they instead to qualify for the Junior World Championship. This fee is an administrative fee, and is not retained by the OGA.
